Privacy and the TDA Assistant
The reading pages on tdalogic.com set no cookies and load no trackers or third-party scripts. The only thing that records anything is the TDA Assistant, the optional AI chat, and only when you use it.
Who runs this site?
tdalogic.com is the reference site for TDA Logic and is maintained by Pensive Beauty® Nanoscience Labs, the lab that defined TDA Logic. It is responsible for the processing described on this page.
What does reading the site record?
Nothing beyond what any web host needs to deliver a page. The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and protect the site. The pages themselves use no cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
What does the TDA Assistant record?
The TDA Assistant is an AI assistant that answers questions about TDA Logic and colloid science. When you send it a message:
- your messages and the assistant’s replies are stored, with the page you started on and the time;
- an approximate location is stored (city, region and country, as estimated by Cloudflare from your connection);
- your IP address is not stored with the conversation. To limit abuse, a one-way hash of it, changed every day, is kept for about a day to count requests;
- a random chat identifier is kept in your browser’s session storage so the conversation survives a page change. It is not a cookie and is cleared when the tab closes.
Answers are generated by an AI model running on Cloudflare Workers AI. Your messages are processed to produce the reply and are not used by this site to train any model.
Why is it kept, and for how long?
Conversations are kept for 30 days and then deleted automatically. They are read, in summary, to see which questions people ask so the reference pages can be improved, and to keep the assistant safe and working. Please do not enter personal, confidential or proprietary information in the chat.
How do I delete a conversation?
Use Delete this chat at the bottom of the assistant panel. It removes the conversation from the server immediately and starts a fresh one.
Is the assistant’s advice reliable?
The TDA Assistant is an AI and can be wrong. Its answers draw on the pages of this site and general colloid science, and it points to the page it used. Check anything important against the cited pages and the primary reference. Nothing it says is medical advice.
